Seaview Inn

The Seaview Inn is run by landlord Michael Oliver and his brother Tony Oliver is the resident chef.

The Seaview dates back to the 1800s, and although it has undergone major refurbishment, with new furnishings since Michael has run the establishment, it still retains the traditional pub features and atmosphere.

Michael ensures a warm, cosy welcome with a roaring open fire and a range of real ales, great beers and a vast spirit selection. The bar is a large room with panoramic views over Falmouth estuary, and the front terrace is perfect to relax and watch sailing in the harbour.

Upstairs in the kitchen, chef Tony prides himself on his range of traditional home cooking, using where-ever possible, locally and ethically sourced ingredients. His thick-cut traditional chips are legendary in Falmouth and are available whenever potato quality allows. Friday is Fish & Chip night at the Inn with either freshly caught Cod or Haddock on offer in homemade beer batter. Sunday is carvery day, with at five different meat options as well as vegetarian option and as many vegetables as you can manage, served from 12pm until 2.30pm for only £9.95. Sunday carvery tends to be popular throughout the year so booking is advisable.

There are three en-suite guest rooms upstairs, with the dining/breakfast room with harbour views and breakfast served between 7.30 and 9.00am. Dogs are more than welcome with prior arrangement and receive a sausage breakfast and endless gravy bones in the bar.

There is WIFI available both in the bar and guest rooms also.m

On street parking is available on the road outside the Seaview as well as on the road parallel behind. The parking is free and unrestricted, subject to availability.

The Seaview prides itself on providing good beers, lagers and ciders. The beer supply lines are cleaned regularly and the Brewery has awarded the Seaview a special certificate for Exceptional Beer Line cleaning. The Inn always has a local real ale on offer as well as two guest ales plus an array of popular lagers, stouts and ciders.

Falmouth is a buzzing beachside town, with a colourful maritime history, busy docks, thriving arts scene and great atmosphere, so why not pay us a visit to discover the full potential of the local area.
